My criteria for purchasing this chair were: quality, design, made in North America and comfort. That it was on sale at Staples was all the more appealing. Since it came in a box and I put it together, I was able to see that it is well-made. It was also simple to assemble -- 2-3 minutes. I have looked at Global Products and am impressed with their overall quality. Perhaps there is something to manufacturing a product in Canada with the hands of union workers. As to design, I like the blend of mesh and leather. This is an outstanding chair.
